Jerry Lees Surprise passes away at 26

With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Jerry Lees Surprise on January 15, 2018. At just under 27 years old, Jerry lived a life full of accomplishments. In 1996 he won the NRHA Open Derby with Todd Bergen. He was the NRHA Open Freestyle Reserve Champion and was a finalist in the NRHA Derby (previous year) and Futurity. His offspring have been incredibly talented and have earned over $640,000 (with less than 200 performance age foals to date). Some of his progeny include Surprizentheprincess (LTE $142,275), Mr Moth Money (LTE $51,934), Jerry Lee Dun It (LTE $34,820), Mr Jerry Lee Surpriz (LTE $27,109), Jerrys Fine Wine (LTE $25,000) and Myskirtsinthedirt (LTE $12,367).Jerry was admired by many and we’d like to thank those who bred to him throughout the years. He was owned by the Bourn Family at the time of his passing. Each member of the family is heartbroken at his loss.
